On March 10, 2017, the Milton Magic Boys 2004 Blue team embarked on a journey to Fairfax, Virginia to compete in the prestigious APC Premier Cup, the 3rd ranked youth soccer tournament in the US.  The team competed fearlessly against the likes of the 4th ranked team in Pennsylvania, the 6th ranked team in New Jersey, and the 2nd ranked team in the entire USA!  By all accounts the team played Milton Magic soccer, showcasing their skills on the pitch and their class off of it.  Unfortunately after suffering a difficult 1-0 semi-final loss by penalty kick, the team was eliminated, but not without great kudos from opposing coaches, including the Rutgers University head coach.

As a result of the high level of skill and intensity demonstrated by the boys, Coach Shayne Griffin received a personal invitation for the team to compete in top tier of the #1 Ranked youth tournament in the USA, the EDP Cup, in Hammonton, NJ.  The bar will certainly be raised, as the team will be competing against the top teams in the USA in this age group, including Real Jersey FC, Rutgers SA, Phila Coppa Gunners, and Harleysville FC. Coach Shayne would like to thank Technical Director, Miles O'Connor, assistant Coach Stephen Alfieri and team manager, Cindy Beaulieu along with the parents for their continued support and guidance. We would like to congratulate the team on proudly representing the Milton Youth Soccer Club at the highest levels and wish them the best of luck at the EDP Cup.
