Referee's Corner

Lightning Policy

Lightning strikes and other severe weather is a very real possibility during the outdoor soccer season.  The safety of players, coaches and parents remains  paramount during the game.  The Referee has the ultimate decision to call the game during these conditions.  Included here is a Lightning Safety/Severe Weather policy as provided by the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) that will hopefully allow the Referee to make an informed decision.
