2008 Indoor Soccer Season
The Milton Youth Soccer club is proud to offer the 2006/2007 Indoor League this winter in conjunction with Milton magic Soccer Academy. The Indoor League will be held on Saturdays with an occasional Sunday starting the end of October and finishing the end of March. Each Saturday(Sunday) there will be a one hour session per age division. The younger children will divide their time between skill development and non-competitive games. The older participants will play one competitive game per week. The season wraps up the end of March with Finals Day including trophies and a BBQ.
We are fortunate to have Peter Knott and Martin Warner running our Milton Magic Soccer Academy sessions in our U5 and U7 age groups. Peter is a qualified Football Association coach from England who has over 10 years experience in the UK and North America. Martin holds a Canadian B coaching License and for many years has held the position of Head Coach with Milton Youth Soccer Club.
The Milton Youth Soccer Club will provide each child with a full uniform consisting of a shirt, socks and shorts. All players are required to wear shin guards and running shoes. Indoor soccer shoes are optional
EC Drury provides the most suitable facility to run an indoor soccer program in Milton, with their double gyms and visitor viewing areas. However EC Drury does have the right to bump us from the gyms at any time with little or no notice. Please check the Milton Magic website www.miltonmagic.com for any last minute cancellation notices.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind parents that all games run by the Milton Youth Soccer Club are governed by the Code of Fair Play for both parents and players. A copy of this code can be found on our website. It is important that all players and parents understand that we have a zero tolerance policy concerning abusive, both verbal or physical to our coaches, players and referees. All incidents of abusive or unsportsmanlike behavior will be investigated by our Complaint Officers and the appropriate discipline action will be taken. All incidents reported are to be submitted in writing and can be sent to the Complaint Officers by going to our website and accessing the email link.
